Mone Hattori

Born on 14 September 1999 in Tokyo (Japan). Mone Hattori began to study the violin when she was five years old under Goro Masuda and, from the age of six, under Akuri Suzuki. At the age of eight she played Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto with orchestra for the first time. She has also studied under Professor Zakhar Bron since 2011 as well as taking classes from Akiko Tatsumi.

In 2008 when she was ten years old she won 1st prize at the XI Wieniawski and the Lipinski International Competition for Young Violinists and 1st prize at the Japan Arts Competition, following which she held her own recital. This year she was commended by the Tokyo Board of Education after winning these competitions.

In 2008 at the age of eleven she performed at the gala of Zakhar Bron in Zurich on 3 September. She currently lives in Tokyo and studies under Professor Zakhar Bron.
