Daniel Roscia

In 2016 Daniel graduated with 110, lode and honors at the Conservatory “F.A. Bonporti” in Riva del Garda with the Professor Lorenzo Guzzoni.

He has also studied bass clarinet with Davide Pietro Lattuada and Paul Richards.

He has collaborated with Ensemble Zandonai, the Conservatory Orchestra F. A. Bonporti of  Trento, Orchestra Haydn, Istituzione  Sinfonica  Abruzzese, Orchestra of the International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Symphonic Orchestra India. He has also participated in the last season of Trentino Music Festival at the International Music Academy in New York. 

He is a full member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) and he was selected for the Italian Youth Orchestra and for the Orchestra Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza.

In 2015 was re-elected 1st clarinet in the Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori; during the same year he won the 1° Prize in the “Premio Abbado” contest held by the Ministry of Education in the clarinet section and he was also selected by the Budapest Festival Orchestra as clarinet and bass clarinet, for a one year apprenticeship.

He has played in some of the best theatres all around Europe like: Musikverein, Elbphilharmonie, Concertgebouw, Usher Hall Edinburgh, Konzarthaus Berlin, Grafenegg, Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma, Teatro Verdi Trieste, Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine, Auditorium  Haydn, Arena di Verona, Teatro Antico di Taormina.

He has also played with some of the best conductors  worldwide  such as Bernard Haitink, Christoph Eschenbach, Gianandrea Noseda, Vasily Petrenko, Xian Yhang, Bruno Aprea, Gerard Korsten, Ennio Morricone, J. David Jackson, Stefan Mosteller, Peter Stark, Giancarlo  Gazzani, Antonino  Fogliani,  Giuliano  Carella, Carlo Boccadoro.

Since then, Daniel has cooperated in several CD and DVDs recordings with orchestras, chamber ensembles and has collaborated with Mediaset and Rai in different tv -programmes and live television. He has recently recorded for Scomegna, an unreleased piece by Stéphane Kregar for clarinet and wind orchestra.

Finally he is a member of the “Corde in Aria”, a piano duo formed in 2013 and “Quadrophobia” (http://www.quadrophobiawindquartet.it/), a quartet born in 2010 (Clarinet, Sax, Basson, Bass Clarinet) and during summer 2012 he recorded with them the CD “In Quattro” and they are currently working on their new CD.
