Luisa Prandina

From 1986 onwards Luisa Prandina was the first harp player of the European Community Youth Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. At 23 years of age she became the first harp player of Milan's "La Scala" Opera House winning the international competition for this engagement. She is frequently involved in Chamber Music groups, with other prestigious musicians such as Yuri Bashmet and Dora Schwarzberg and she has also been a soloist with famous Orchestras such as the La Scala Philarmonic, The "Solisti Veneti", the Moscow Virtuosi and the Mahler Chamber Orchesta. Her solo performances have taken her to many important venues, such as La Scala Theatre, Milan, The Sala Verdi, Milan, the Berlin Philarmonic and the Kurhaus at Wiesbaden.
