Patricia Muro Francia
Patricia Muro was born in Logroño, a small city in La Rioja (Spain), in 1996.
She started playing violin at the age of four and continued improving her technique in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de La Rioja, with Margarita Tejedor. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as Collegium Musicum La Rioja (in 2015) and La Rioja Symphony Orchestra (in 2017).
In 2016, she won the first prize in the Fermín Gurbindo Competition, in Bachelor category. As an orchestra member, Patricia was chosen to collaborate with Euskadi Symphony Orchestra and she also played with Bilbao Symphony Orchestra; but young orchestras are her passion.
She has performed several times as concertino with the Soria Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Basque Youth Orchestra and Musikene Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, she joined the Wiener Jeunesse Orchester in a tour through Austria and Slovakia.
Nowadays, she is a member of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra, in which she performed as concertino in January. She is about to finish Bachelor in Musikene with Catalin Bucataru, and she will join EUYO for Spring Tour 2019.
