2018 is one of the Orchestra's busiest years yet, with major spring and summer tours and many international projects taking place. The European Union Youth Orchestra, as cultural ambassador for the European Union, embraces the EU’s 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, devoting its entire 2018 season to the project The Great Mosaic - celebrating Europe’s musical heritage. Throughout 2018, the EUYO is performing more than forty compositions from all corners of Europe in live concerts in thirteen countries that will be broadcast around the globe, with performances taking place in Alicante, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bolzano, Bucharest, Dresden, Ferrara, Grafenegg, London, Stresa, Vienna, Warsaw, São Paolo, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Shanghai and at the new Dubai Opera in the United Arab Emirates. Together with Chief Conductor Vasily Petrenko and pianist Till Fellner, the Orchestra’s Spring tour will also include performances with pianists Karim Said and Alexandra Dariescu.

Full programme to be released on Monday 19th July.
