Adrián Rescalvo García
Adrián was born in Xirivella (Valencia, Spain) in 2000. He started studying double bass when he was nine years old in Torrent Professional Conservatory with Manuel Pons where he finished his first stage in 2019.
Nowadays, he is studying his Bachelor Degree in Double Bass Performance in Musikene (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, Spain), with the teachers Pierre-Emmanuel De Maistre and Julio Pastor.
He has had masterclasses with teachers such as Wies de Boevé, Rick Stotijn, Yann Dubost, Luis Cabrera, Szymon Marciniak, Mihai Ichim, Rodrigo Moro, Uxía Martínez and Damián Rubido, among others. From his beginnings in music, he has played in different young orchestras, such as JONC (Catalonia National Youth Orchestra) or JOGV (Valencian Youth Orchestra). In recent years, he has also collaborated with professional orchestras in Spain, such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia or Orquesta de Cámara de Mallorca.
At the moment, he is a member of EUYO (The European Union Youth Orchestra) and JONDE (Spanish National Youth Orchestra).
