Milo Harper

Winner of the Camac Harp Competition 2018, Milo Harper is gaining a reputation as one of the leading young British harpists.

He strives to demonstrate the diverse capabilities of the harp by playing a variety of original works and transcriptions. He is currently in his final year of undergraduate study at the Royal Academy of Music, under the tutelage of Karen Vaughan and Skaila Kanga.

Milo frequently performs in the UK’s top concert halls and works as an orchestral and chamber musician internationally. He is currently the harpist for the LGT Young Soloists orchestra with whom he has performed across the world and been featured on three CDs for Sony/RCA Red Seal Records. Previously he attended the Junior Department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and was Principal Harp for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

As a soloist he was featured at the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong 2017, was the first harpist to win the North London Festival President's Prize Competition (2018), and has been a prizewinner at international harp competitions in Szeged, Hungary (2016) and Saluzzo, Italy (2017).
