Silvia was born on 1998 in a coast town from northwestern Spain, starting to play flute at the age of seven. At the age of 15 she gets the Intermediate Music Level with Distinction. Right after she starts her bachelor, while being also mentored by Laurent Blaiteau. She has been financially supported by the Deutschlandstipendium, the Fundación Repsol and the Deputación de Coruña.
Silvia Rozas Ramallal
Silvia Rozas currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under the guidance from Silvia Careddu. She is also academist at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Silvia was awarded in several international competitions, such as IV Concours International de Flûte Maxence Larrieu Nize, IV Concorso Flautistico Internazionale “Severino Gazzelloni”, Premio Verão Classico 2018 or XIII Premio Internacional Andalucía Flauta.
As orchestra musician, she has collaborated with the main orchestras from her region, such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia and the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. During the last season she was academist at the Hamburger Symphoniker. She is member of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra.
