Martina Englmaierová

Martina was born in 1995 in Czech Republic. She is an absolvent of Grammar school and Music school of Prague, Prague Conservatory (prof. Jiří Rajniš) and The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (prof. Karel Untermüller).

Now she is a master student at Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden in the class of prof. Vladimír Bukač. She successfully auditioned for the Orchestral Academy of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Music Academy.

She is occasionally invited to Pkf-Prague Philharmonia, The Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK), Czech Student Philharmonic Orchestra and others. She attended both solo and chamber music Masterclasses Arosa Music Academy in Switzerland (with Vladimír Bukač and Markus Fleck), the Franco–Czech Academy of Music in Telč, or Ševčík Academy in Horažďovice (with a violist from Berlin Philharmonic Allan Nilles).

She participated in the final of the Viola selection for Tra Mare Stelle e Magia Festival 2019. Since 2014 she did four tours with EUYO. In 2020 she became finally a member!

Besides music Martina also focuses on phonetics and linguistics.
