Lucie Krysatis

Lucie Krysatis was born in 1997 in Luxembourg. She began playing the horn at the age of six in the Conservatory of Luxembourg with her teacher Carlo Pettinger.

Since October 2017 she ist studying Horn with Prof. Johannes Hinterholzer at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater München”. In 2019 she attended the “Bayreuther Festspiele” as a scholarship holder and won the first Prize and special Prize at the "International Jan Koetsier Competition" as part of the ensemble "Raclette Quartett".

Lucie is currently part of the academy of the "Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg" and a substitute in several orchestras such as the "Münchner Symphoniker". Besides the lessons in Munich with Prof. Hinterholzer she has participated in master classes with Frøydis Ree Wekre, Thomas Hauschild, Radovan Vlatković, Erich Penzel, Raimund Zell, Hasko Kröger and Christian Lampert.
