Adam Ostrowski was born in Łódź on 3 September 1997. He took his first bassoon lesson when he was 11 years old.
He is currently studying master degree studies at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Zbigniew Płużek, where he graduated from bachelor in 2019. He has improved his skills in mastercourses led by: Matthias Rácz, Ole Kristian Dahl, Václav Vonášek, Laurent Lefèvre, Roger Birnstingl, Martin Petrák, Robin O’Neill, Meyrick Alexander, Jarosław Augustyniak, Krzysztof Kamiński, Grzegorz Dąbrowski, Artur Kasperek, Arkadiusz Adamczyk, and Dorota Cegielska.
In 2015 he was the first bassoonist of the Lodz Region Youth Orchestra Sinfonietta and in 2019 first bassoonist of the Interantional Lutosławski Youth Orchestra. He has worked with such orchestras like: Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish Camerata, Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic Orchestra, Warsaw Camerata, Chopin University Chamber Orchestra. He also plays in a wind quintet ensemble Hybrid Quintet and a woodwind trio. He was awarded several prizes and distinctions at international and national competitions both in solo and chamber music category.
