Barbara Udovčić was born on 17th of June 1993 in Zagreb. She started playing violin at the age of nine in the class of professor Karlo Veliki.
In music highschool Blagoje Bersa she studied in the class of prof. Ljubinko Đurić and finished it aswell as the V. gymnasium in 2012. The same year she entered the Music academy of Zagreb in the class of Anđelko Krpan and two years after transfered to the Arts academy of the University of Split in the class of prof. Evgenia Epshtein. She has participated in masterclasses and lessons with Valentina Gončarova (Tallinn, Estonia), Evgenia Epshtein (Trogir, Croatia), Barbara Doll (Zagreb, Croatia), Anđelko Krpan (Grožnjan, Croatia), Enrico Onofri (Zagreb, Croatia), Vida Vujić (Vienna, Austria), Eva Bindere (Split, Croatia).
Trough the years she played with various orchestras and ensembles such as "Col legno" ensemble for contemporary music in Zagreb, "Zagreb Jazz Strings" with Sigi Feigl in Austria and Croatia, National Opera Orchestra of Split, S/Umas contemporary music ensemble in Split, Virtuosos of Split with Wladimir Kossjanenko in Croatia and Germany and the Sensus festival orchestra with conductor Karel Mark Chichon in Latvia.
She participated aswell in solo and chamber music competitions: HDGPP 2016. regional and national solo competition in Croatia 1. and 2. prize respectively, Tirando con pizzicato 2016. in Poreč 1.prize, Alion International Baltic Festival competition in Tallinn "KNS recording prize", HDGPP 2016. regional and national chamber music competition in Croatia 1. and 1. prize respectively in a duo with guitarist Goran Stefanović, International Concorso Salieri 2017. competition in Legnago, Italy 2. prize. 2018. she graduated on the Arts Academy of the University of Split with the highest scores and currently, she is playing projects with the National Opera Orchestra in Split, Virtuosos of Split chamber ensemble and having masterclasses with prof. Dragan Radosavljenić in Berlin, Germany.
