Cristina Cazac
Cristina was born in Moscow in 2003. At the age of 4 she moved to Italy, where she started playing the violin and the piano and studied in Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” of Parma with Alberta Stefani (violin) and Paola del Giudice (piano).
Between 2017 and 2020 she studied also under the supervision of Sergey Krylov, Dimitri Shishlov and Georgy Levinov at the “Accademia del Ridotto” in Stradella (Pavia).
In 2020 she moved to Berlin, where she’s currently studying for her bachelor degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin in the class of Peter Rainer.
At a young age, Cristina participated at many competitions as a soloist (both with the violin and the piano) and also in chamber performance, like the European Music Competition “Città di Moncalieri”, the International Competition “Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart”, the International Music Competition “Gaetano Zinetti”, the International Music Competition “Antonio Salieri”, and was awarded with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
She attended several masterclasses in solo and chamber performance, taught by professors Ilya Grubert, Sergey Krylov, Mihaela Costea, Dalia Seselgiene and Ivan Rabaglia, among others.
In 2019 she debuted as soloist with the “Arturo Toscanini” Philharmonic Orchestra with the director Świętosław Moszegow and with the LandesJugendSinfonieOrchestra Hessen with the director Nicolás Pasquet playing Beethoven's Violin Concerto.
She’s currently playing as concertmaster for the JEB orchestra in Berlin, playing in the Philharmonie Berlin.
Since 2020 she is an EUYO member and plays a violin by A. Leicht.
