Davide Dalpiaz

Born in Florence in 1995, Davide Dalpiaz studied violin at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with Eva Erna Szabo, Svetlana Makarova and Pavel Vernikov.

From 2016, he continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater ""Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy"" Leipzig with Erich Höbarth, with whom he graduated as Meisterklassenexamen in 2022. In 2020 he also attended the Master course of Lorenza Borrani in Fiesole.

Through the years, he attended several Masterclasses, both as a soloist (Christian Altenburger, Ulrike Anima-Mathé, Lukas Hagen, Marco Rizzi) and as a chamber musician (Casals Quartet, Klimt Quartet, Kuss Quartet, Andrea Lucchesini). He also had the chance to cooperate and perform with musicians such as Matteo Fossi, Steven Isserlis, Jens Peter Maintz, Hariolf Schlichtig, Wen-Sinn Yang, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies.

In 2021 he was invited by soloist and conductor Sir Andras Schiff to join for the first time the Cappella Andrea Barca for the autumn tour, with whom he performed once again in 2023 at the Mozartwoche Salzburg.

From 2022 he started working as a substitute with Kammerakademie Potsdam. In the same year he was invited by Avi Avital to join the Bewteen Worlds Ensemble. For the current season he will be an academist at Budapest Festival Orchestra.

He joined EUYO in 2020, covering through the years many different positions, both in first and second violin sections, lastly Prinipal Second Violin. This year will be his first year as Orchestra Leader of EUYO.
