Gustavo Vieira Rebelo
Currently in the University of Aveiro, Gustavo Rebelo started his studies at 8 years old at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music, in Aveiro.
Currently he attends Prof. António Pereira’s class, at the Departamento de Comunicação e Arte (DeCA) of the University of Aveiro. His studies are also frequently mentored by Prof. Ana Bela Chaves.
Throughout his academic career he has participated in several masterclasses and courses, ran by teachers and musicians such as Miguel da Silva, Robert Turner, Emmerson De Biaggi, Tatjana Masurenko, Maté Szucs, Leo De Neve, Gérard Caussé, Hariolf Schlichtig, Kim Kashkashian, Thomas Riebl and Ana Bela Chaves.
Throughout his studies he has collaborated with several youth orchestras, such as JOP (Portuguese Youth Orchestra- Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa), from 2017-2020 and the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (MYO), in the 2020 edition, and has since been selected to be part of the 2021 edition of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO).
Most recently he has been chosen to participate as an academist and scholarship holder for the Marvão International Music Academy, with Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig, the Verão Clássico International Music Festival & Academy, with Prof. Miguel da Silva and the Liechtenstein International Music Academy, with Prof. Thomas Riebl.
