More than 80 EUYO musicians came together for their long awaited Ferrara Musica symphonic residency, rehearsing and performing in Ferrara from 8 to 22 September, in events including an outdoor concert as part of the InternoVerde Festival and 4 concerts at the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara. Two of the Orchestra’s concerts premiered Music Minus the Rules!, a new series with the EUYO in a relaxed and informal mode playing excerpts from a variety of music, with a special presenter as a guide to explain what is happening onstage, and a chance for the audience to ask questions and hear from the players and conductor. If you have never tried a live performance of classical music before, this is the perfect way to begin.
